Mayfield Magic

Chapter 54-Budding Teen (4)

CHAPTER 54

THE BUDDING TEEN-4

MONDAY, AUGUST 31

<Miller Residence>

Michael woke up with Aiden sleeping behind him, their torsos touching.  Aiden’s right arm was draped over Michael’s torso. Since both boys were naked, it was a wonderful feeling to wake up to. Nolan was sleeping on the other side of the large bed, his back to Michael and Aiden. He wasn’t touching anyone and was snoring softly.

Michael checked the time on Aiden’s desk clock and saw that it was ten after nine. He knew that Aiden was not going to reprise his Naked Chef act and that Larry would be cooking up breakfast as soon as the overnighters were out of bed and ready to eat.

As Michael was formulating a plan where he could work his way out of bed without waking Aiden up, he felt Aiden stirring. He could tell Aiden was wide awake when he felt Aiden shifting, pushing his morning wood against his back.

“Hey,” Michael uttered as he rolled over to his right side and faced Aiden.

“Hey yourself and good morning,” Aiden whispered.

“You sound like you might not be in a grumpy mood.”

“How can I be in a grumpy mood when I’m waking up with two sexy dudes I happen to love. Plus, I got around eleven hours sleep.”

“You love me? Michael from East Harbor?”

“I do. It’s a best friend love which is radical in my book, but not quite up to the same level as a boyfriend love.”

“Who’s waking me up by talking about love before breakfast?” Nolan said.

“That would be your Sweet Cakes waking you up,” Aiden said.

“And your Sugar Bear is very grateful to be woken up by you.”

“Your out-of-town friend who loves you both is grateful you’re both awake. Now I can get myself out of bed and take a piss without being worried about waking anybody up,” Michael said.

As he stepped out into the hall Mason stepped out of the guest room. “Hey, Michael! You look good dressed like you are,” Mason said.

“Good morning, Mason. I see we’re wearing almost identical suits.”

Mason looked down at himself and said, “They do look a lot alike. That is totally dope. Too bad we can’t perform onstage dressed like this.”

“Hmm, it might work. The audience would be so into your singing they wouldn’t even notice what you’re wearing.”

“And the same goes for you.”

Aiden poked his head out of his bedroom door and saw Mason and Michael standing face to face chatting. “Good morning, Mason. Do you guys plan to get ready for breakfast or are you going to stand in the hall yakking all morning?”

“Breakfast? Like with food?” Mason grinned.

“That’s exactly what I meant.”

“Can we eat now and shower later?”

“That sounds like a plan to me,” Aiden said. “I’ll head downstairs and get my pop to work making breakfast.”

“I thought Coach Phil was the head cook,” Mason said.

“He is for everything except breakfast. My pop is the breakfast chef except when the naked chef cooks it up, which isn’t going to be today.”

Cal stepped into the hall and grinned. “Damn, are we having a nudist convention?  Here’s me, Mason, Michael, and Aiden all out here naked doing nothing. But when’s breakfast?

“That’s a good question,” Nolan said as he became the last overnighter to step into the hall.

“Okay, okay, I get it. If you guys don’t mind me walking out on you, I’ll go down and get my pop moving,” Aiden said.

“Are you going down there naked?” Cal asked

“We’ll all be going down there naked,” Nolan said. “I’m as hungry as the next guy. But I gotta piss first.”

Aiden had to piss as well, but he decided to get his pop moving in the kitchen and then piss in the first-floor bathroom. He headed downstairs leaving Nolan, Cal, Mason, and Michael to take care of their business.

“Good morning, pop,” Aiden said when he found Larry reading the morning newspaper in the newsroom.

“Well, good morning sunshine. You are certainly sounding chipper this morning.”

“I’d have to be a total asswaffle to be a morning grump when I had four of my greatest friends ever spending the night at my house and then find the greatest pop ever reading the newspaper so he can be ready to fix us all breakfast.”

“Well, when you phrase it like that it would appear I have no choice but to cook up something delectable for all of the fabulous adolescents inhabiting our humble abode at 404 Lakeshore Drive.”

Aiden walked over to Larry and patted his shoulder. Since he was naked, Aiden knew he couldn’t give his pop a hug even though his pop was wearing a t-shirt and sweats.

“How does it feel to be wearing that suit for the last time?” Larry asked.

“What do you mean ‘for the last time’?”

“I thought you’d be trading it in on a new suit at midnight. I mean you will be a different age and all.”

“You’re so silly.”

“And I know you love it.”

“Well, I know this much—it’s my birthday suit, and it’s Birthday with a capital B. It’s the one I was born in and it will be with me my whole life. And I know my suit will be ready to sprout the worlds best blond pubic hairs because all teenagers should have pubes. So, let’s help those pubes get started with a pancake breakfast.”

“Sounds like a plan,” Larry grinned.

Aiden helped his pop with the breakfast preparation. He was surprised by a question Larry asked him. “I’m surprised you put Michael and Calvin on your list of greatest friends ever. You have just recently made friends with them. How did that happen?”

“Well, Cal is just a classy dude, so he earns a spot on the team. And Michael is turning out to be somebody really special even though he lives over a thousand miles away. I can’t begin to describe how I feel about him. He’s not Nolan, but he is an extraordinary person.”

Aiden was sitting at the dining room table thinking about his visiting friends when those friends came tramping down the stairs. “Hey, Sweet Cakes, let’s wake up and set the table,” Nolan said as he shook his boyfriend by his shoulders.

“I am awake,” Aiden said has he pushed away Nolan’s arms. Nolan noted he was wearing his apron. “I was waiting for the assistant table setters to come downstairs.”

“Well, here we are, so how about putting our asses to work,” Cal said.

“What are we having to eat?” Mason asked.

“The head breakfast chef and his trusty naked assistant will be serving up pancakes, scrambled eggs, link sausage, with cantaloupe and honey dew melon cubes. The drink will be your choice of apple juice or orange juice,” Aiden replied. “And now, our experienced table setter, none other than the Sugar Bear himself, Nolan Robert Moyer.”

“Thank you for the introduction, Wayne,” Nolan said.

“My middle name, in case you didn’t know,” Aiden said as he rose from the table and headed for the kitchen.

Nolan had handled table setting duties in the Miller house before and knew exactly what to do. He gave everyone their assignments. Mason acted as his assistant and helped show the newbies, Cal and Michael where things were. The quartet soon became an efficient team and had the table set a few minutes before Aiden came out with a large plate stacked with steamy hot pancakes.

The boys dug right in as soon as all the food was on the table. Larry elected to eat in the pancake room, but the boys convinced him to eat at the table with them.

“After all, we did set a place for you,” Mason said proudly.

“How can I turn down an invitation to eat with five amazing young men?” Larry said. Aiden, who hadn’t been part of the discussion to set a place for Larry, was proud of his friends for being so willing to invite an adult, who was a parent no less.

The conversation was lively, focusing on sports—the Mariners and Marty, as well as the afternoon soccer practice where Aiden, Mason, and Nolan would be practicing.

Aiden’s friends and family party the next day was also discussed. One of Calvin’s parents would be picking him up around three o’clock that afternoon, to take him home. They would also be picking up Carla at ie’s house. Carla had spent the last two nights at Kalie’s with Kalie, Brittany, and Christy. Nolan would be attending the friend and family party as would his parents. The Moyers had all but become a part of the Miller family.

While most of the East Harbor boys would be having breakfast at the Miller house, all of them but Michael would be enjoying the afternoon at Trent’s house where they would be enjoying the pool until three.  Some of the Goats would be there as well. The reason Michael would be staying at Aiden’s house was because of the close relationship he had developed with Aiden and Nolan.

The overnight arrangements were simple. The East Harbor boys would be spending this night as well as Tuesday at the homes of boys they had been staying with for the last two nights. They would be leaving for home Wednesday morning.

After the breakfast was finished the boys helped with the cleanup and then planned to go down to the basement. Michael held back, however, and asked Aiden if he could have a couple of minutes of his time. Nolan, Mason, and Calvin headed downstairs while Michael and Aiden sat on the loveseat in the meeting room.

“So, what’s on your mind?” Aiden asked. He could tell that Michael had something serious to say.

“Well, it has to do with the next two nights,” Michael replied. “I know where I’m staying the next two nights, and that is here. What I would like to know is who else will be staying overnight. The reason I want to know is that I would like to have a serious, private talk with you before I leave on Wednesday. And I’d like it to be today, not on your birthday, which should be all about you and your true love, Nolan. And please, don’t go changing your mind and uninvite somebody because of my request. It’s not what I want.”

“It all works out. Nolan and I talked about this while we were all cleaning up. While the Seattle boys, mostly my cousins and a couple of their boyfriends, will be showing up tomorrow morning, they will all be leaving after dinner because they have to be in school Wednesday,” Aiden said. “Nolan and I will be the only two boys overnighting here on my actual birthday.

“Nolan said that because you and I have become close friends, like almost overnight, he’ll sleep at home tonight, and it will be just you and me here. And tomorrow, after everyone has cleared out, he gets me all to himself. You’ll be staying with Mason and Alejandro. Alejandro stayed at the Mayfield Inn last night and got two rooms for tonight; one for the three of you and one for Jacob, who will be your official guardian. So, how does that sound?”

“Sounds great to me. We both have to be sure to tell him what a great boyfriend he is for Mason,” Michael said. “And my guess is that the twins will be staying with the twins.”

“Your guess is right on the money, of course,” Aiden said.

“I’ll tell you, that quartet of twins has sure got the hots for each other,” Michael said. “Pardon my math.”

“No doubt about the hots and your math works for me. So, on that note, let’s join the boys in the basement. We can play games, hit the pool or hot tub, eat some of my Phil dad’s great sandwiches for lunch, and get to soccer practice by 3:30 or so,” Aiden said.

“It’s a busy day, for sure.”

“Then let’s go enjoy it.”

<Hazen Residence>

The two sets of twins had elected not to spend the night at Aiden’s “End of Summer Party” on Sunday. Their decision had been made once they learned that Brenda the brat and her best friend Wendy would be spending the day and the night at their friend Sally Baker’s house. That meant that they would have the house to themselves for the night. They didn’t figure the Hazen twins’ mother into the equation since Lenny and Lance knew she wouldn’t bother them as long as they didn’t make a lot of racket.

“That means when you cum you gotta, like, muffle yourselves,” Lenny had told the Kendall twins when he gave them the news.

“Easy-peasy,” Connor said. “Me and Cooper have the same rule at home.”

The result was Leslie Hazen picking up the four boys just a little after eight. After getting home, the twins had had a busy, but quiet, evening of Mariner watching on TV, as well as telling Leslie the clean version of how the naturist party went, and then fun with each other’s bodies in the twins’ bedroom. By the time Cooper snuggled with Lance in Lance’s bed and Connor snuggled with Lenny in Lenny’s bed, each of them had enjoyed at least two orgasms.

But now it was just past nine on Monday morning and time to get out of bed and get breakfast. Since Leslie was at work, the boys saw no reason to dress, and enjoyed a breakfast of cereal, toast, and fresh strawberries.

“Last night was a great example of twin power,” Connor said as the boys wolfed down their morning feast.

“Yep, everybody got to cum and nobody got in trouble with your mom,” Cooper said.

“Plus, the Brat was having fun kissing her girlfriends,” Lenny said.

“For real?”

“Well, it’s nothing she brags about, but Lance and I are pretty sure that they kiss and play with their twats, just from little things she’s said.”

“The only thing that kept our night from being perfect is that me and Lance only had two cums, while you and Connor ended up having three each,” Cooper said.

“Well, you know what they say,” Lenny said.

“What?”

“It’s not the number of cums that counts as much as how good they were.”

“I can handle that,” Cooper said. “My cums were totally epic. So there.”

After breakfast, the boys loaded their dishes into the dishwasher. Lenny took four lunch bags that Leslie had packed out of the refrigerator and headed on a walk to Parkwood Elementary where they would meet Mason, Riley, and Grant to play soccer. Lance told Connor and Cooper that playing soccer, even four on four soccer, would get them ready for practice at four.

“Won’t you guys be tired?” Connor asked.

“Only if you play so hard we gotta work extra hard,” Lance said.

“Or if we don’t stop for lunch,” Lenny said. “But, since everybody agreed to bring lunch, we’re guaranteed to stop for lunch.”

The twins arrived at 10:30, the agreed-on time.

The result was the boys playing four-on-four games, simply messing around with three soccer balls, stopping for water, playing tag, having lunch at noon, followed by more of the same until they ended their session at two. They saw each other again between 3:30 and 3:45 when they arrived at the middle school for organized soccer practice.

The kickers had a hard practice as Coach Paxton and Coach Martinez ran them through an hour of drill work followed by a twenty-minute scrimmage. With the combination of their active day and their hard practice, the players were plenty tired.

The twink quartet, Grant, and Riley headed for Riley’s house where Riley’s mother had a dinner of hamburgers, fries, and a tossed salad waiting for them when they came through the door. After dinner the boys enjoyed watching the Mariners lose to the Red Sox 4-2.

After the game the boys crowded into the Foster SUV and Riley’s dad dropped the twins at the Hazen house.  He then dropped Riley and Grant off at Grant’s house where Riley would spend the night.

Both houses would see pubescent boys enjoying each other’s bodies. The twins were fortunate that Brenda got the okay to spend another night with her friends. As a result, the Kendall and Hazen twins got to enjoy an undisturbed night in the Hazen bedroom.

<Aiden’s bedroom>

“Dang the Mariners had a lot of chances to win that game,” Aiden said as he and Michael watched Mariner center fielder make the last out in the M’s 4-2 loss. “Marty left men in scoring position twice.” Marty had gone 0-for-4 with a hat trick (3 strikeouts).  Michael and Aiden were sitting naked on Aiden’s bed watching Aiden’s television. Their cocks were soft and their bodies weren’t touching.

“I’m willing to bet that was his worst game of the year,” Michael said.

“Oh, yeah, that it was.” Aiden used his remote to shut off the TV.

“Your soccer coaches ran a tough practice today.”

“Yah they did, but you gotta work hard to have a good team,” Aiden said.

“That you do. Just like you gotta do it to have a good band,” Michael grinned.

“Jeez, Michael, you don’t have a good band.”

“We don’t?”

“Nope. You’ve got a great band. Without a doubt the greatest boy band in the country right now.”

Michael pecked Aiden on his right cheek. “You say the nicest things.”

“Well, it’s true and you know it. Now, let’s take a piss, get ready for bed, and hit the sack.”

“Yes, boss.”

They went downstairs, said their goodnights to Larry and Phil and headed back upstairs.

“Michael certainly feels at home here seeing as he didn’t see any need to put any clothes on,” Larry said.

“Funny how Aiden’s friends find that comfort level,” Phil said.

“Well, Gordy has had his problems with it. And pubescent boys often develop body shyness as they get deeper in puberty, so we’ll see how things work out in the future.”

“Whatever. Michael is a great kid. Loaded with talent and beauty. Just the kind of kid Aiden is attracted to.”

After taking care of their evening brushing, washing, and pissing, Aiden and Michael dropped down on Aiden’s bed and lay on their backs top of the covers, their naked bodies touching from shoulder to ankles.

“Well, we’ve told each other we wanted to talk about something serious when we had time alone tonight. I have a pretty good idea of what the topic is going to be, but I’ll let you start it.”

Aiden took a deep breath. “We both know what it’s going to be so why don’t we say on my countdown from three.”

“Right, because saying it together will be a bonding experience, as Lars likes to say.”

“Exactly. Ready or not, here goes the countdown: Three, two, one,” Aiden counted. The boys looked at other and Michael joined in as they both shouted: “DEMONS!”

“Wow, it worked like a charm,” Michael said. “It’s like we practiced it for a week.”

“All we were lacking was the blaring of trumpets.” Aiden took another deep breath and said, “As far as I can tell my demon latched onto my brain by two separate things. They’re different but they worked together. One was my dad Keegan getting me drunk and molesting me when he was doing his visitation or whatever it was when he came to our apartment.  I was seven and eight.

“Then he, like, disappeared from my life. The other thing was my mother being killed in a crosswalk by a hit-and-run driver. Keegan disappeared, my mom was dead, and I was sent to a foster home which ended up being a disaster with the other two boys, who were eleven and thirteen trying to get all sexual with me and my foster dad pretty much not giving a shit. That’s when my Uncle Phil and Uncle Larry came into my life.”

“And then they ran the demons right out of you?”

“Like we said when I was at your house in East Harbor—we both have our demons,” Aiden said.

“How many kids our age have demons?”

“How many kids our age want to talk to a mom they don’t have any more?”

“Do you ever wish you could talk to your mother?”

“I do. And my last time wasn’t very long ago,” Aiden said. “My last time was after finishing a really sad book called ‘The Twelfth Angel’ that made me cry and made me wish I could drink my demon killer.”

“Alcohol?”

“That would be correct. Instead, all I could do was cry for my mom like a little kid. I know, I know, I wasn’t even a teenager yet, but I was twelve which, I guess, made me a tween instead of a little kid. Hmm, and today is my last day as a tween.”

Michael scooted closer to Aiden until their legs touched. He put his arm around his friend and gave him a squeeze. “But alcohol wasn’t the answer, right?”

“Only because we didn’t have any in the house. But even if we did, I’ve got tools to use that should keep me from drinking; tools like calling Sammy, my AA sponsor, or Nolan, my boyfriend, or praying. But my right answer just happened to show up at that moment to deliver fresh baked cookies. It was Nolan’s mother, who I thought hated me. But I was wrong. Instead of hating me, she hugged me, talked to me, LISTENED to me, and loved me. My higher power was looking out for me.”

“Higher power?”

“Some call him God.”

Michael kissed Aiden’s cheek and slid his left arm under Aiden’s back and shoulders. “I think he’s looking out for both of us.”

“You said you miss your mom a lot, too. All I know is she died on you real suddenly.”

Michael fought back a sob. “Yeah. She was murdered. Shot and killed. By criminals who wanted me to be dead cuz I knew stuff about the shit I was doing and they shot my mom hoping she’d tell them where I was and she ended up dying and here…here…,” his body shook with sobs. “Here (sob) I (deep breath and sob) am.”

Aiden held Michael tight and cried with him. The boys were filled with a love for each other that they couldn’t describe but would never forget. Aiden knew it wasn’t like the love he felt for Nolan, but it was a love that meant his friend would have a place in his heart forever. They were both motherless boys, their mothers having died suddenly for different reasons.

When they finally scooted into bed together, they wrapped their arms around each other. They were dressed in t-shirts and underpants. What they wanted was to simply feel each other’s love. On this night the two young teenagers instinctively understood that this was all that was needed.

Aiden turned out the nightstand light, putting the room into darkness.

“Michael,” he whispered.

“Yes, my awesome friend Aiden,” Michael whispered back.

“God loves you, and so do I.”

Tears—a long kiss—a long hug—a warm and healing night’s sleep followed.
