Greetings and welcome back. Aiden celebrates his real birthday with family and close friends. Plus, there is a surprise visit thrown into the mix.
CHAPTER 55
FAMILY
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1
<Miller Residence>
Aiden and Michael woke at eight when Aiden’s alarm went off. “I can’t believe I set my alarm for eight o’clock on my birthday,” Aiden groaned.
Michael stretched and yawned. “You said last night that you were setting it for eight.”
“I know I did. With all that’s going to be happening today it was the right thing to do. But my new teen brain said to forget the alarm and sleep in like any good teenager would.”
“Happy Birthday, by the way. And congratulations on not listening to your new teen brain.”
“Thanks,” Aiden grinned. “It would have messed up my birthday if I had listened to it. I decided that as much as I hate getting up to an alarm, it was better than not being ready for all the people coming and all the things going on.”
“Don’t forget all the people leaving. I know we East Harbor boys don’t leave until tomorrow, but we won’t be at your family dinner.”
“I dunno, Michael. After last night, you’ve all but become a member of my family.”
“Are you inviting me to dinner?”
“I’d need to clear it with my dads first, but I know they’d say yes.”
“Well, I have to say I am honored to be asked,” Michael said. “But I’d have to tell my friends why I was invited and they weren’t. And I truly think that what we talked about last night was strictly between you and me.”
“What about Nolan?”
Michael looked directly at Aiden and nodded. “Yes, you can tell Nolan. I’m surprised you haven’t already.”
“Oh, he knows all about the history of my mother and me and how his mother helped me over a rough spot, but he doesn’t know your story,” Aiden said.
Michael sat quietly looking past his bedmate. Aiden waited patiently for his answer. “I figured he knew about your mother and there was no way he would know my story. When I said you can tell Nolan, I meant you can tell him everything. You told me you and Nolan had no secrets from each other and that you trusted him completely. I trust you completely, Aiden, which means I trust him completely. Feel free to tell him my story.”
“Maybe you should be the one telling him.”
“You and I have developed a special connection just like you and Nolan have a special connection, even if they aren’t exactly the same. I’m not quite sure how to say what I want to say but…”
“…but I know what you mean,” Aiden said. “So, I’ll tell him your story, what it meant to me, and how it created a bond between you and me. Like you said, we have no secrets. But I’ll wait until after you leave. After that it will be up to you and Nolan how you want to handle that the next time you see each other.”
“Yeah, it could be a big bonding between the two of us, or even the three of us. Or we could say little or nothing knowing we both know what happened.”
“Oh, and don’t forget. Horace knows all of our secrets too.”
“That stuffed Donkey is a font of knowledge. He’s heard and seen a lot. Maybe I could write a song about him and make him a star.”
“I think he’d only be impressed if you brayed through the entire song,” Aiden grinned. “But I love his furry self. He’s been my totem for a long time and has helped me more than I can say.”
They flipped off their bedding, climbed out of bed, stripped naked, and headed for Aiden’s bathroom.
The shower was erotic but not sexual. While Aiden and Michael lusted for each other, they were mature enough to know this wasn’t the time to give in to lust. They washed each other’s back and ass, which felt good, but washed their own gonads. They couldn’t help but bone up, but they knew they were going to ride out the flood of hormones and take care of their needs later in the day with somebody else.
The teens enjoyed a breakfast of scrambled eggs, toast, hash browns, and bacon that was cooked up by Larry. The boys were pleased that Larry and Phil elected to sit at the dining room table and eat with them. They discussed various topics from baseball, to music, to life in East Harbor compared with Mayfield, and to the East Harbor boys’ upcoming trip home.
After breakfast, Michael and Aiden helped clean up and put away the breakfast dishes and cookware.
“It’s pretty cool that you do your chores on your birthday,” Michael said as he helped load the dishwasher.
“There’s a lot of stuff going on today that’s being done because it is my birthday,” Aiden said. “The least I could do is help out so we can get things set up before the guests start arriving—which will probably be in an hour or so.”
The time was a few minutes after nine-fifteen and the out-of-town guests were expected to start showing up around eleven. Nolan had volunteered to be Larry and Phil’s chief assistant for setting up the dining room, living room, and guest lounge for the party.
He showed up at nine-thirty as promised. He and Michael exchanged hugs and a quick kiss on the lips. Nolan then gave his boyfriend a long, deep, wet birthday kiss. “Your thirteen spanks will be served this evening along with your birthday cake,” Nolan grinned.
Jacob drove up in a Mayfield rented mini-van. Michael gave Aiden a long kiss. “I love you my friend,” he said after they broke it.
“And I love you,” Aiden grinned.
“And, Nolan, I expect you to make my friend’s thirteenth birthday his best birthday ever,” Michael said. He gave Aiden’s jeans covered butt a solid whack.
“What was that for?” Aiden asked as if he didn’t know.
“Happy Birthday. You get your one to live on early.”
“Thank you, my best friend.”
“Not a problem, my best friend,” Michael said. “Oh, and by the way, Nolan…”
“Yes?” Nolan asked.
“I love you. Take good care of my best Mayfield friend.”
“Only the best for him. And you’re one of the best friends he could ask for. I love you too and hope Sweet Cakes and I will get to see you again soon.”
Michael went into the kitchen where Larry and Phil were starting their dinner preparation. He thanked them for their hospitality and for being great dads. They thanked him for being a good friend to Aiden. Michael returned to the dining room where Jacob was patiently waiting for him.
He knew Michael had bonded with the Mayfield boys; Aiden and Nolan in particular. He elected not to make a snide remark about how long it had taken Michael to say goodbye, pick up his overnight bag, and head out the door to the SUV. Instead, he picked up Michael’s suitcase, thanked everyone for their hospitality, and followed Michael out the door. As always, Jacob was the consummate professional.
<Miller Residence>
11:15.
The first visitors were the Miller family from Kirkland along with Pierce from Seattle. They consisted of Keegan Miller, who was Aiden’s birth father, Natalie Miller, who was his stepmother, and Drake Miller, who was Natalie’s nephew as well as the adopted son of her and Keegan. That relationship made him Aiden’s adoptive brother.
Pierce, who was fifteen, and Drake, who was sixteen, had met during a dark period in their early teens and became boyfriends. There was no doubt that the two loved each other.
Finally, there was Lincoln Miller, who was the son of Keegan and Natalie, the half-brother of Aiden, and the adoptive brother of Drake. Lincoln was just over six months old and became the instant center of attention as soon as Drake pushed his stroller through the front door. Aiden had spent some time with Lincoln on a visit to Kirkland a couple of months ago, but he was new to Nolan. Both boys cooed over him, as did Larry and Phil who cooed and stroked Lincoln’s chin like they had never been around a baby before; which was pretty much the case. Keegan brought his travel crib inside and quickly set it up so Drake could place the baby in it.
“I think my little brother needs a diaper change,” Drake said.
“That sounds like something right up your alley,” Keegan grinned.
“Duck is an expert diaper changer,” Pierce said.
“Duck?” Nolan asked.
“Well, a Drake is a duck, right?”
“Got it,” Nolan grinned.
“I’ll take care of diaper duty,” Natalie said. “I think Drake and Pierce should socialize with the birthday boy Aiden and his friend Nolan.”
“Does he have to be in that little crib?” Larry asked.
“He’s starting to crawl and is becoming very curious. He likes to see what he can knock off of coffee tables,” Drake said. “We may want to keep him confined.”
“He can’t create much more havoc than Aiden’s friends did at his birthday party earlier in the weekend,” Phil chuckled.
“If Drake is Duck, then what is Pierce?” Larry asked.
“He is Pooka,” Drake said. “And for the uninitiated, a pooka is a large animal who is visible only to those who totally believe in it. And it just happens to start with a P like Pierce does.”
"And when we were on our cruise, Drake gave me this Puka shell necklace," Pierce said as he showed off the string of shells. "So I have both Pooka and Puka."
“In our relationship, Aiden is Sweet Cakes,” Nolan said.
“And Nolan is Sugar Bear,” Aiden said.
“Although now that Aiden has become an official teenager today, some of that sweetness might end up souring a bit,” Larry grinned.
“Pop, I can’t even begin to say how wrong that is. I mean, look at Nolan. He’s going to be fourteen in a few weeks, and he’s still my Sugar Bear. So there.”
The conversation came to a close, at least for the time being, when the doorbell played the opening chords of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony, startling Lincoln and starting him crying.
“Whoops, maybe we should switch that into regular doorbell mode,” Phil said.
“We’ll blame it on the wet diaper, so keep it as it is,” Natalie said. “It’s part of the atmosphere of your home. But smelly diapers are not, so tell me where the bathroom is so I can get the little imp changed.”
Nolan had seen his parents walk up to the house and knew who was at the door. He indicated to Aiden that he would get the door. He opened the door and gave his mom and dad a hug.
“Hey, aren’t we supposed to get our first hug of the party from the birthday boy? ” Vivian Moyer asked.
“Except for when it is your son who answers the door,” Nolan said.
Aiden gave his boyfriend a friendly punch on his left shoulder. “But you cheated. You looked out the window and saw them walking into our driveway.” The Moyers lived less than a mile from the Millers.
“Plus, they texted me when they left the house so I knew it was time for me to look for them.”
“I think I deserve an extra hard birthday hug from my Mama Vivian.”
“And I couldn’t agree more,” Vivian grinned as she wrapped her arms around the boy she considered to be her honorary son-in-law. After they broke the hug, she stepped up to Aiden again and gave him a longer, tighter hug. “And that was your special birthday hug. Happy Birthday and welcome to the teenage world.”
She then looked over to Phil and Larry and said, “Or maybe I should welcome you to the dealing with a teenager world.”
“I believe the two of them will be able to handle it just fine,” Paul Moyer said.
“Once again I am in agreement.”
Aiden then introduced the Moyers to the Kirkland Millers, minus two. Those two showed up as the handshakes were being shared. Vivian melted when she saw what Natalie had in her arms.
“Oh my goodness what a handsome young man you are,” Vivian said as she kicked into grandma mode and stroked him under his chin. “And who might you be?”
“This is my special little brother, Lincoln Miller,” Drake said proudly. “He’s six months old and is learning to crawl.”
“Then we may need to ask for a demonstration later on in the day.”
Aiden, Nolan, Pierce, and Drake headed downstairs to the game room. They were prepared to leap up the stairs to greet the next guests when they arrived. But the four teens wanted some private time while they could get it.
“I enjoyed getting the texts you two sent from your Alaska cruise,” Aiden told Drake and Pierce.
“We enjoyed sending them,” Drake said. “It was a great time.”
“And those ginger twins we met were beyond sexy cute,” Pierce said. He grabbed his phone and pulled up a selfie he had taken of himself, Drake, Blake, and Bryce. Aiden and Nolan nodded their approval of the two redheads. Pierce went on to explain how Trajan and Levi had gotten them connected with the twins and how they had eventually met them on the ship.
“We’ll need to have a weekend get together before the end of the year so me and Pierce can tell you about them where we won’t be interrupted,”
“Did you tell the cousins about them?” Aiden asked. He was referring to the Seattle Millers; Logan, Chase, Eddie, and Curt.
“Let’s just say that they know a little bit about them, but not everything there is to tell,” Drake said.
“Will we ever know everything?” Nolan asked.
“We’ll do our best to tell you two as well as the cousins when we get the time.”
“Those were some awesome pictures you sent,” Aiden said.
“Hell, you should see the ones Blake took with his birthday camera,” Pierce said. “It’s a Canon SLR and he’s become, like, really good at taking pictures with it. He has a talent for it.”
“Birthday? They had a birthday on the ship?”
“Yep. They beat you to thirteen by three weeks.”
Before Pierce and Drake could ask more, Beethoven played and Aiden raced up the stairs. Everyone noted that this time the doorbell hadn’t sent Lincoln into crying mode.
“Linc is such a good baby,” Natalie cooed as she rubbed the infant’s shoulders.
Aiden opened the door and was greeted by the Seattle Millers and friends. His blood cousins Logan and Chase were at the front of the pack. Behind them were his adopted cousins Eddie and Curt.
Standing on the sidewalk were Madison and Dillon, the blood cousins’ boyfriends. “Why purple hair today?” Dillon asked Madison.
“UW Huskies football started, their team colors are, like, purple and gold and they won their first game Saturday, and I’ll be, like, rooting them on this coming Saturday for win number two. That’s why.”
“So, I see the purple but where’s the gold?”
“You can see it in, like, my pubic area later today,” Madison said.
“I thought you didn’t have any pubes.”
“I painted my pubic skin with gold body paint, which makes me, like, purple and gold, just like the Dawgs.”
“But we’d have to get you naked to see it,” said Chase, who had been listening in.
“And that is your challenge,” Madison smirked.
As that group filed into the house amid high fives, hugs, and a couple of chaste kisses, the Donkey-mobile turned into the driveway.
The Donkey found a spot for his SUV and shut down the engine. As soon as the hand brake was set and the engine was shut down, Justin and Darnell exited the car and followed the Seattle Millers into the house. Darnell had spent the previous night with Justin.
Mike the Donkey joined Troy and Susan Miller in the house once the boys had cleared the way. Troy hugged his brothers Keegan and Phil as well as his brother-in-law Larry and sister-in-law Natalie. Susan had brought hors d’oeuvres to tide the crew of adolescent boys over until dinner was served at three.
The boys gathered in the game room in the basement and got to work playing games and shooting the shit, with some flirting and groping thrown in. “Where’s Ryan?” Aiden asked Justin. Ryan and Mike were Justin’s gay fathers.
“He’s at work,” Justin said.
“Well, tell him we missed him when you get home.”
With all of the adults upstairs, the boys knew the party wouldn’t be a big sex fest. But that didn’t stop them from groping, ass grabbing, and tossing in a kiss or two. After all, how often did the Miller cousins get together without a few shots of cum being squeezed out?
The last guests to arrive were Larry’s parents and Phil’s father and stepfather who came to the door together. They had stayed at the same hotel at the Portland airport and driven up to Mayfield together in their rented car. All the boys headed upstairs to give their dutiful greetings. The last four guests were grandparents of Aiden.
Aiden had asked in the invitations that no gifts be brought. From what he could see, everyone had followed his wishes.
<Hallion residence>
1:00
Jacob dropped off the East Harbor boys at the Hallion residence for what Mr. Hallion called their Bon Voyage party. All the East Harbor boys who traveled to Mayfield were there, of course. They were Alejandro, Michael, Jaden, Alex, and the Kendall twins (Connor and Cooper). The Mayfield boys were the hosts (Trent and Jackson Hallion ages 14 and 17), Mason, the Hazen Twins (Lenny and Lance), Cal Loggins, Scott Keller, Riley, Grant, and Titus Perry, a boy who had moved to Mayfield the week before. The whole group immediately went to the outside and gathered around the pool.
Titus’s new home was a house a half a block east and across the street from the Hallion house. Titus was thirteen and would be an eighth grader at Mayfield Middle School. His thick bright red hair was neatly combed. He stood five feet four inches and weighed 106 pounds. He was an honor roll student and played soccer, baseball, and basketball. He liked baseball best. While he was good in all three sports, his best sport was baseball. He was left-handed and played outfield or first base when he wasn’t pitching. He was a good shooting guard in basketball but was only an average soccer player. He played soccer only because his friends had played it. He was seriously considering sitting out the already started soccer season.
On the flip side, Titus was a very sociable boy and already missed his friends in Auburn, Washington, where he had lived since he was in first grade. Playing on a soccer team could be a quick way to make new friends.
His father, Roger, was a teacher and would be teaching science at Mayfield High School. His mother, Jenna, would be starting work as the office manager of the new railcar assembly plant in Centralia after Labor Day. He had a brother, Shane, who was ten and would be starting fifth grade.
Titus had already made a friend in Trent and was making more friends at the party.
Titus and Trent sat with the two sets of twins. Titus hadn’t known any twins in Auburn. As a result, he found the Kendall and Hazen twins to be exotic. “You guys seem to know each other pretty good since one pair lives here in Mayfield and the other pair lives way down in California,” Titus said. “How did you guys meet?”
“Lance and I played on the Mayfield 13-and-under team and we went to a tournament near East Harbor,” Lenny said.
“And me and Cooper decided to root for them, mainly because they had a pair of twins playing for them,” Connor said.
The four boys gave each other a quick look and shouted out, “TWIN POWER!”
“And that’s the story,” Lenny said. “Oh, and by the way we won the tournament.”
“Wowsers. You mean you guys got to play in a tournament all the way down in California? And you won it? You must be really good,” Titus said.
“We did and we are. Mayfield is famous for its good baseball teams. Mayfield High School has won four State A Tournament Championships and we plan to win a couple more when we get to high school. Coach Sanders coached two of them.”
“I can’t wait for baseball to start.”
“It’s only seven months until the middle school season starts.”
“What was your team name?” Titus asked.
“Our team name IS the Yard Goats,” Lenny said. “The middle school team is the Titans.”
“And the high school is the Mustangs,” Lance said.
“What’s a Yard Goat?” Titus asked.
As if they had preplanned it, the Kendall twins shouted out, “GOOGLE IT!”
And that led to the sharing of stories from Mayfield baseball stories, Titus’s life in Auburn, Mariner baseball, and life at Mayfield Middle School, along with a small dose of erotica. Titus mentioned that his middle school JV team had been 5-5 and his 13-and-under summer team was 13-12; 6-6 in league. “We weren’t good, but we weren’t bad either. We were competitive,” is what my dad said.
“Oh, by the way a yard goat is a locomotive that switches freight cars in railroad yards,” Lenny said. “We got that because the Clark Pass Railroad switches cars in a yard here in Mayfield.” Lenny was referring to the Clark Pass and Pacific Railroad which goes through Mayfield and switches cars at the feed lot rail yard.
Trent had told Titus that the East Harbor boys would be returning to California the next day, so he knew they wouldn’t become long-term friends. Titus kept glancing at one of the boys trying to figure out if he had seen him somewhere before.
After an hour or so he got up the nerve to go over and talk to him. “You look familiar,” he said to Michael. “But I can’t figure out where we would have met unless you used to live in Auburn.”
“Do you ever watch music videos and concerts online?” Michael said.
Titus looked Michael over and his face lit up. “Oh my god, East Harbor, California and…and…At the Majestic. Don’t tell me you’re Michael the lead singer of At the Majestic.”
“Like it or not, I’m going to tell you. I am Michael of At the Majestic.”
“Holy shit…um…sorry for my language…but I love you guys. You’re my favorite band. But it looks like you’re the only band member here.”
“Check out the kid sitting in the lounge chair directly across the pool.”
Titus turned to check out the boy who he had noticed earlier. He had been taken by the nearly naked boy clad only in a bright green Speedo. “Is that Mason Johnson?”
“Yes, it is.”
“Well, all I can think to say is holy shit one more time and sorry one more time,” Titus bubbled.
“It’s cool…I’ve heard the word used before.”
“But he doesn’t live in East Harbor.”
“You’re right about that,” Michael said. “But if you’d think for a moment I’ll bet you’ll remember where he does live.”
Once again Titus’s face lit up. “He lives in Washington State and now that I think deeper I think he lives in Mayfield, Washington. How could I have forgotten that? I mean that thought hit my mind when I found out we were moving here. But I never thought I’d actually meet him. Trust me, this moving to a whole new place has made the last month or so really whacked.”
“I believe you. I understand whacky things happening in life and how it screws up your mind. That said, how about I give you a hug and take you over to meet Mason.”
“Sounds good to me.”
Michael stepped over to Titus and gave him a tight hug. Both boys were shirtless and wearing only board shorts. The feel of his bare torso being pulled against Michael’s sent a sexual thrill coursing through Titus’s body.
Michael then grabbed Titus’s hand and led him around the pool to Mason’s chair. Michael introduced Mason and Titus to each other. Mason leaped up out of the lounge chair and wrapped his arms around Titus. “Welcome to Mayfield, Titus the new kid,” Mason said.
“Thanks,” Titus said. “I’m a big fan of your singing.”
“And I’m a big fan of you being the new kid in town.” Mason surprised Titus by planting a quick kiss on his lips. It was the first time Titus had ever been kissed by a boy. He’d kissed four different girls, French kissing two of them. From what he knew about the At the Majestic members the kiss didn’t shock him, if you didn’t count the shock waves of pleasure that coursed through his body. He hoped nobody would notice that he had a boner.
But when he and Mason stepped away from each other Titus couldn’t help but see Mason’s speedos being pushed out by a hard cock. Mason could see that the kiss had the same effect on Titus even though the bulge in his board shorts wasn’t quite as obvious. Mason wondered if the new kid in town was gay. ‘If he is he’ll fit right into Mayfield Middle School perfectly’ Mason thought.
Titus then surprised himself by stepping up to Mason and giving him a quick kiss on his lips. ‘Fuck, I can’t believe I did that—I actually kissed a boy and a bigtime star to boot. But then, he did kiss me first,’ he thought as he stepped back.
“Wow, welcome to Mayfield, Titus,” Mason grinned.
“I hope nobody gets the wrong idea about me because you and I just kissed.”
“Trust me, everybody here will be cool about it. I don’t think I’m giving away any secrets when I tell you that every Mayfield boy here has kissed a boy sometime this summer.”
“For real?”
“Totally for real.”
Titus wondered what kind of place he’d moved to. If two boys in Auburn had kissed in public like he and Mason had, somebody would have either called them faggots, or tried to kick the shit out of them, or both. But this kiss had been witnessed by a small group of boys who were all friends. He decided to wait until after school started and he met more boys before he arrived at any conclusions.
“You look a little shellshocked,” Michael said after Titus returned to the other side of the pool.
“I dunno what I am. It’s just so different from what I’m used to. Is everybody like this? You know, all kissy kissy and stuff.”
“Since I don’t live here, it would be best if you made up your own mind once you’ve met more of the group. Some of them are at Aiden’s house celebrating his thirteenth birthday. Aiden is a key member of this group of kids.”
“Why isn’t everybody at Aiden’s house if he’s so special?”
“He had his big party for everybody on Sunday. It was a big overnight thing. Today is his actual birthday and it’s for family and close friends of family, most of whom came from out of town. Mason and I will be going there to sing when we get a call that cake cutting time is close. We plan on singing a special ‘Happy Birthday’ for Aiden after they’ve finished eating. My spy at Aiden’s house says they should be finished between three-thirty and four. I think it would be cool if you came with us.”
“I won’t have to sing, will I?”
“Not unless you want to join everybody singing the second round,” Michael said. “Mason and I have practiced something special for the first round.”
“The idea is for Aiden to meet you. He can really help you get settled in. Like you, he’s going into eighth grade. From what I know about him, he moved to Mayfield when he was in the third grade, so he knows about what changing schools is like. Now, put on your shorts, shirt, and shoes for the short hop to Aiden’s house.” Michael was already dressed and ready to go.
“Thanks, Michael. You’ve been an epic help. I wish you lived here in Mayfield.”
“You’ll do just fine. Think about it, you already have one friend in Trent, who invited you to this little party.”
“That’s true,” Titus nodded. “He’s been really special. And he has told me a lot about Mayfield sports. He says they have a great baseball program here, and that’s the sport I’m best at. Plus, it’s my favorite one.”
“And you’ve had a special kiss with Mason, which I hope you enjoyed.” Titus blushed deeply at the mention of his little peck. But he was pleased that Michael had no problem with what he and Mason had just done.
“See, you’re already off to a good start and school doesn’t start for you until next Wednesday, right?”
“Yep. A week to go and now I know Trent and Mason. And I’ve also met Riley and Grant, the Hazen twins, who are going into seventh grade, Cal who lives in another town, and Scott, who’s going into high school. Speaking of Mason, can I ask you a question about him?”
“Go right ahead, but I maintain the right not to answer it if it’s too personal. You can always ask him if that happens.”
“Fair enough. Anyway, if you and At the Majestic live in East Harbor, California, and he lives like a thousand miles away in little Mayfield, how did he end up becoming almost like a star with At the Majestic?”
“That one I won’t answer because it’s a long story. It’s something he can tell you better than I can because he’s lived that story. I know he’ll be more than happy to share it,” Michael said. “I will say that it was something he wanted really bad and things just happened to work out.”
“I really would like to get to know him better. His singing and dancing with ATM has really impressed me. And he seems like a special person.”
“He’s very special. And while we have a moment, I want to say something about Aiden. But please understand that you didn’t hear this from me.”
“I understand,” Titus said. Although he wasn’t sure that he did.
“He is very special, too. He’s smart, a really nice guy, a caring person, a good athlete; everything you want in a friend. Plus, he has a totally hot boyfriend.”
When he heard that, Titus thought that maybe he did understand what Michael meant. But before he could react verbally, Michael’s phone rang. “Hey, Nolan. You guys must be ready.”
“Be here in fifteen minutes,” Nolan said.
“That won’t be a problem. Jacob will be bringing me, Mason, and Alejandro. Oh, and the Kendall twins, too, just because. But don’t worry, they won’t be singing our opening version of the song. We’re also bringing Titus, a new kid in town, for you guys to meet.”
“I’ve heard about him. It will be cool to meet him. See ya soon.”
They disconnected. Mason, Titus, Alex, and the Kendall twins were quickly ready to go. “Can Trent come too?” Titus asked. “I’m nervous and he can hold my hand or something.” Alex and Jaden decided to stay behind to keep from overcrowding the SUV and to have some special time with Grant and Riley who they had grown close to.
Michael nodded and Titus had his t-shirt and shorts on in an instant. Looking at the other boys, he could see that his flipflops were all he needed for footwear. The seven boys squeezed into the SUV for the short trip to Aiden’s house.
Titus sat in the middle seat and Trent sat to his right. He was surprised when Trent grabbed his right hand and wrapped his fingers around his. At first, he wasn’t sure what to do, but instinct drove him to squeeze his friend’s hand. The boys kept their hands clasped together all the way to Aiden’s house.
Michael, who was sitting on Titus’s left, was the only boy who noticed it. He had noticed Titus loosening up increasingly since they had met. He liked what he saw. Titus was starting to look like he would fit right in to middle school life in Mayfield.
<Miller Residence>
When the SUV pulled into the Miller driveway Titus pulled his hand away from Trent’s. But he looked at his new friend and mouthed, “Thank you.” Trent gave him a big grin in return.
Aiden, Aiden’s dads, and almost all the birthday party guests (both boys and adults) were truly surprised when the doorbell chimed Beethoven and Nolan opened the front door and welcomed seven boys who charged into the living room yelling, “Surprise!” Nolan was the only person who knew the boys would be coming and what they would be doing.
“Well, I gotta say that I am really, truly surprised,” Aiden said. He was especially surprised by the stranger in the group, wondering who he was.
“We came to pick up the cake for our party,” Trent grinned.
Before Aiden could say anything else, Michael and Mason stepped in front of the surprise group and broke out into song. While the song wasn’t “Happy Birthday,” it was obviously based on “Happy Birthday.” The melody and the rhythm were much different at times and kind of the same at other times. Michael had written his version of the Birthday song with some suggestions by Mason added in.
They had trilled through the words of the song almost three times when Mason hit the highest note he could with his unbroken soprano when he sang the “birthday” in “happy birthday to you.” Michael sang “birthday” in his clear alto. Then Mason dropped down and Michael moved the scale as they sang a long, drawn out, “tooooo youuuuuuu” together.
Everyone from boys to adults cheered and hollered. Then Michael invited everyone to sing the good old version of Happy Birthday “that we all know and love.” While the performance wasn’t the professional sounding tour de force that Michael and Mason performed, it was loud, enthusiastic, and full of love and friendship.
“Wow, that was amazing,” Aiden said after he blew out the thirteen candles that had been placed on one of the two cakes set out in the dining room. He then took a taste of his piece of cake. “I thought just Jacob, and maybe Alejandro, were coming over to pick up the cake for Trent’s party.”
“It looks like we all thought that except for Nolan and me,” Nolan’s mother, who had started cutting one of the cakes, said. “Nolan asked me what I thought of his idea a couple of days ago. I told him it sounded like a great idea.”
“And a couple of minutes later I was on the phone talking to Michael and he and Mason took it from there.”
“You guys have to record that song,” Aiden told Michael and Mason.
“I promise it will happen,” Michael said.
As Alejandro walked out with the cake, Aiden came up to Titus and shook his hand. “As you no doubt figured out, I’m Aiden. And you must be the new kid Trent said moved in close to him.”
“Yeah, that’s me. My name is Titus. Happy Birthday.”
“Thanks Titus. Trust me, it’s not this exciting here every day.”
“But it’s close,” Mason grinned.
“I should have introduced Titus earlier, but I never got the chance,” Trent said. “Hey, everybody, this is Titus Perry from Auburn and my new neighbor and friend. Those guys are all Aiden’s cousins and friends of his cousins,” Trent said.
“We need to have a welcome party for Titus before school starts,” Aiden said.
“How about you and me working on it tomorrow since school starts next week.”
“We can talk about it in the morning.”
“Guys, you don’t need to go through a big deal for me,” Titus said.
“Who said anything about a big deal?” Aiden said. “It will be a swimming and games room party for an afternoon this weekend. Whoever shows up, shows up. The idea is you get to make more new friends.”
“Thanks, Aiden.” ‘I am sure thanking a lot of guys today. I’m really liking these guys,’ Titus thought.
As Titus fought off the urge to give Aiden a hug, Aiden stepped up to Titus instead and gave him a tight hug. “Welcome to Mayfield.”
“Okay, guys, let’s go. We’ve got cake and ice cream to eat,” Trent told his crew.
As they headed out the front door, Titus wondered if the kid with the purple hair was one of Aiden’s cousins or a friend of one of his cousins. Either way, he found the boy interesting. He didn’t notice Trent whisper something to Mason as they reached the bottom of the steps.
Titus found himself sitting between Mason and Trent, with Trent once again on his right side. He wondered if Trent was going to hold his hand again, but Trent’s hand didn’t budge. Mason grabbed his left hand instead and held it tightly. Titus looked at him in surprise but before he could give the change any thought, Mason leaned in and kissed and licked his left cheek.
Titus moved his head enough so that Mason could put their lips together and give him a real kiss. Titus was sure he was going to faint or something when he felt Mason’s tongue push on his lips. He had French kissed girls before, so he knew what to do. He opened his lips to give Mason entry to his mouth, where he pushed his tongue against Mason’s. His body shook and bolts of electricity seem to flow through him.
Mason pulled back and grinned. “There’s more where that came from,” he said. Trent then grabbed Titus’s right hand and squeezed it tightly until the SUV parked in front of the Hallion house.

Dinner was a rousing affair with 22 dinners being served. People ate in the kitchen dining area, the dining room, the living room, the special dinner room, out on the deck, on the pool patio, and in the basement games room. Larry and Phil had pulled folding chairs and tables out of the storage shed behind the house. While the house sounded like it was crowded with everybody spread throughout house, as well as outside, it didn’t feel crowded.
While Aiden wanted to eat on the pool patio, his dads told him that etiquette demanded that he sit at the dining room table. When he complained that it was his birthday and he should be able to sit wherever and with whomever he wanted, they reminded him that he’d already had two parties where that was the case.
“But, dads…,”
“Everybody is here to wish YOU a Happy Birthday and you have the duty to be where they can find you and wish you the best,” Larry had told him.
They told him that he could pick his tablemates, however. Since the dining room table sat eight when the leaf was inserted, that gave him a wide choice, but not wide enough as far as he was concerned. He liked his best friend’s end-of-summer “birthday” parties better. It wasn’t that he disliked the family party; it gave him a good feeling to have so many adult friends and relatives who thought enough of him to come to his birthday party. What bothered him was that having to do his duty around the adults gave him less time to be around his Seattle area relatives and their friends.
Aiden decided to pick just boys to sit at his table. He told the adults that they could all sit together with him on the patio when the birthday cake was served. Aiden made no secret about the fact that Nolan would automatically get a seat. Every other boy would have his name placed in the pot. “Except for Lincoln. He asked to sit with his parents,” Aiden said, producing a round of laughter.
Aiden sat at the head of the table and Nolan sat to his left. After that the order was decided by the order of the draw. Chase and Pierce sat in the next two chairs. Madison sat opposite Aiden. Justin, Curt, and Logan filled the table. Larry had set out a folding table capable of seating four. Dillon, Eddie, Darnell, and Drake filled that table. Aiden knew that Eddie had once given Darnell a hard time because of Darnell's race, but he had learned that Eddie had made amends and the two had become friends.
Dinner was barbecue chicken, tater tots, and a mixed salad. Larry called the boys to the counter that separated the dining room and the kitchen where they each picked up their dinners. The adults were served once the boys had been taken care of. It was a kid’s birthday party after all.
“Who was that Tyler kid that you were going gaga over?” Logan asked Aiden as the boys dug into their dinners.
“His name is Titus, and he’s the new kid. I was just trying to help him feel welcome.”
“Yeah, with a hug and saying you’re going to have a party for him.”
“It’s the Mayfield way, right Nolan?”
“The fact that he’s really cute didn’t hurt him,” Nolan smirked.
“Are you going to have skinny dipping at the welcome party?” Logan asked.
“We’ll see what he wants to do,” Aiden replied non-committedly.
“Trent said that Titus plays soccer, basketball, and baseball,” Nolan said.
“Sweet. I wonder how good he is.”
“We’ll see. We’ve gotta make a football player out of him. We need more bodies for the school team. He looks like an athlete, even though he’s a skinny rail like you.”
“Hey, you’re the one who keeps telling me that slender is sexy,” Aiden said.
“That’s because it is. But muscular is the thing for football,” Nolan said as he flexed his right arm, displaying a nice size bicep.
“Skinny and quick rules,” Madison said as he flexed his rail thin left arm.
“Plus, it’s sexy as fuck,” Logan grinned. “If the welcome party you guys are gonna give him is gonna be a skinny dipping party, I’d give anything to be there. He’s really sexy looking and I’d love to see him naked.”
“Hey, if you go you’d better take me with you so I can keep an eye on my boyfriend,” Madison told Logan.
“That goes without saying. Besides, we both know we’d be doing more than keeping an eye on him.”
“This is going to be a party to help a new kid feel welcome, not a sex party to see what he will and won’t do,” Aiden said.
“We’ll see how that goes,” Nolan said with a knowing smile.
“How about we concentrate on eating this delicious food,” Aiden said before biting into a piece of chicken.
After finishing dinner, everybody met in the cake room where the two birthday cakes had been cut ahead of time by Nolan’s mother and Larry’s mother. Everyone sang “Happy Birthday” again. Including the variation of the song sung by Michael and Mason, it was the third time it had been sung at the party. No candles were lit since that tradition only needed to be done once. Besides, the cakes had already been cut.
Just after five o’clock the party came to an end. Larry’s parents would be taking the two-hour drive back to their home in Tacoma. Phil’s dad and stepdad would be staying at the Roadside Inn and would be leaving for Portland the next morning to catch a plane home to Phoenix.
Before they left, Pierce and Drake approached Aiden and Nolan and the two couples exchanged heartfelt hugs and kisses.
"Happy birthday, Aiden," Pierce said. "We love you guys big time."
"And the food was awesome, dude," Drake added.
"Thanks to both of you for being here," Aiden said with a smile. "We love you, too. Shoot me a text when you get home."
Keegan, Natalie, Lincoln, Pierce, and Drake left for Kirkland. Pierce was going to spend the night with Drake at his house.
Troy and Susan would be spending the night at the Roadside Inn so Aiden’s cousins could spend the night at Aiden’s. The Donkey would also be spending the night at the Inn so Justin and Darnell could spend the night at Aiden’s as well. After all, what was a kid’s birthday party without an overnight thrown in?
Nolan, Logan, Madison, Chase, Dillon, Justin, Curt, Eddie, and Darnell would be spending the night at Aiden’s house.
<Hallion Residence>
After Alejandro, Michael, Mason, Trent, Connor, Cooper, and Titus returned from the birthday singing trip, they quickly changed back into their swimming trunks and headed into the pool. The early September afternoon was warm and the cool water felt good.
Trent swam up to Titus who was floating on his back. “Hey, Titus. You’ve had an interesting visit today.”
“Tell me about it. I kissed a boy for the first time and ended up doing it two times. I got a big hug from a boy. And I held hands with two boys, including you,” Titus said.
“Moi? You held hands with moi?” Trent grinned.
“Sure did. And it made me feel good. Two boys or not, it was the thing I needed both times.”
“How did Mason’s kisses make you feel?”
“Surprised. I mean, yeah, exchanging a quick little kiss was one thing. I’ve had a couple that were, like, in fun. But that kiss on the way back here, it was the kind of kiss a guy would usually have with a girl.”
“Well, Mason is gay, you know,” Trent said.
“I know. He doesn’t make a secret of it. That’s why I was surprised by his French kiss, not because he was gay but because I never said that I was gay.”
“You mean you’re gay?”
“I guess I didn’t say that right. I mean I never said I was gay because I’m not gay. But I need you to answer a question for me. Like an honest answer.”
“Ask away.
“How does a guy know if he is gay?” Titus asked a little shakily.
“Well, an honest answer would be that since I am not gay I don’t know how a guy knows.”
“But you mess around with boys a lot, don’t you?”
“Yeah, I do. But I pretty much do it just with my very best friends and with Jackson.”
“So, how can you tell though?”
“My advice is don’t worry about it right now. When in Mayfield do what the Mayfield boys do. Then, after you get to know him as a friend, I’d ask Aiden about it. I mean, he’s gay and proud and would be the best guy to ask.”
“So, I just, like, experiment and when the time comes ask Aiden, right?”
“Right. And until then, just have fun and learn what you like and what you don’t like. And don’t think you have to try everything. Hell, you really don’t have to try anything if you don’t want to.”
“So what happens if I say no, I don’t want to do something?”
“Look around you here and when you go to Aiden’s welcome party for you and at the jocks who hang out around Aiden and his buddies. For all of them there is one simple rule: No, means NO.”
The conversation ended there when Mason waded between Titus and Trent.
“You know something?” Mason asked Titus.
“I know lots of things. So, you’ll have to ask me about what I know.” Titus was starting to feel his oats a bit around his new friends. He chided himself to watch his mouth or else he might start getting some of them mad at him.
“Did you like the kiss I gave you?” Mason asked.
Titus paused and looked over to Trent for help. Trent shrugged his shoulders, telling Titus he was on his own. “Yeah, I guess I did kinda like it. I mean I’ve kissed before, but it’s always been with girls.”
“Are you guys ready to eat, or do you just plan on spending the afternoon talking about sex?” Jackson called out.
“What makes you think we were talking about sex?” Trent asked.
“First, because I know you and Mason. Second, you had that look.”
“What look?” Mason asked.
‘What the fuck are these guys talking about?’ Titus wondered.
“Well, whatever, the burgers are ready to be scarfed. So get your horny asses out of the pool and join the rest of us for lunch,” Jackson said.
Trent pulled himself out of the pool and walked over to his brother. “I’ve got two questions.”
“Ask away.”
“First, what’s your answer to Mason’s question about the look?”
“The look that says you got sex on your mind. And what’s your second one?”
“How can a guy have a horny ass?”
“By being thirteen and being totally horny all of the time,” Jackson smirked.
“I’m fourteen.”
“Yeah, by two months. But being fourteen is even worse. Now, let’s go eat.”
“You can be so full of bullshit,” Trent said good-naturedly as he and his brother headed to the barbecue area where the other boys were filling their plates.
Trent got in line behind Titus and suggested they sit together at a small picnic table which had seating for four. Mason saw them and joined them. The fourth seat remained empty as well as the small table next to it.
Michael, Grant, Riley, Cal, Scott, Alejandro, and the Kendall and Hazen twins found chairs on the deck. “We should go join the gang,” Trent said. “There’s room for us.”
“There’s room for somebody to come here, too,” Mason said.
“I know, but it’s the right thing to do. I mean it will give you a chance to get to know some of the guys. They all play sports and will be your future teammates.”
The trio picked up their food and walked over to the patio and sat; Mason next to Alejandro, Titus between Grant and Riley, and Trent next to Connor.
Titus went through introductions with Grant and Riley. He was surprised to learn that they were boyfriends of the Hazen twins. “No offense, guys, but is every boy in Mayfield gay?”
“Not that I know of,” Grant said. “But an awful lot of us like to play around, especially with our best friends. But, yeah, a lot of us are gay—at least for now.”
“What do you mean, ‘at least for now’”?
“Cuz when we get older some of us might start to find out that girls aren’t so bad,” Riley said. “But I’ve heard it said Mayfield seems to have a bigger percentage of gay boys than most places.”
“And some of it might be because the gay boys aren’t scared to come out and be gay,” Trent said. He’d been listening to the conversation. He was hoping Titus wouldn’t get turned off by what he’d seen, heard, and done since he’d come to the party.
“Which is way different than where I lived before I moved to Mayfield. I got bullied because I got caught sucking a dick,” Riley said. “Here, it’s hard for the bullies to pick on guys for being cocksuckers because even the guys who aren’t really cocksuckers suck cocks sometimes, if that makes sense.”
I guess, it kind of does,” Titus said. “But it I’m surprised to hear you’ve got bullies here.”
“I bet everybody has bullies,” Trent said. “It’s just there aren’t very many and they’ve got nobody to impress.”
“But don’t expect things to be the same in Kentburg even though they’re right next door to us,” Grant said.
“My parents almost bought a house in Kentburg,” Titus said. “It was down to one there and the one they bought.”
“Are you okay with here?” Riley asked.
“More than okay. Why wouldn’t I be?”
“Because of all the questions you asked about being gay.”
“I’ll take gay guys over bullies any day. I asked because I was curious. And, well, as you guys saw between me and Mason, it was some pretty heavy curiosity.”
Things quieted down as the boys got into eating. When the time came to enjoy the birthday cake that they brought from Aiden’s house, they all gathered around the large picnic table. “Okay, guys, on three you all yell out ‘Happy Birthday’ so loud they’ll hear you in Aiden’s house,” Trent said.
“Aiden’s house is outside of the city,” Jackson pointed out.
“That just means we have to be extra loud. Okay, ready---ONE, TWO, THREE!...”
…”HAPPY BIRTHDAY!” shouted the chorus of pubescent and adolescent boys.
“You guys really have a lot of fun together,” Titus said. “This is a lot different from where I used to live. I had friends, mostly my teammates in sports and we had fun playing together and stuff, but you guys have fun just being together.”
“It’s the small-town loving…er, I mean living,” Mason said.
“Well, I’m getting used to small-town living.”
Martha Hallion had cut the cake, so all the boys had to do was put a piece on their paper plate, add ice cream, and scarf it down.
The party started to break up when Cal’s mother arrived to take him home. She had visited friends in Kentburg while Cal enjoyed the company of his Mayfield friends. One of the things that Titus had learned about Cal during the after-dessert bullshit session was that he had been a pickup player for the Yard Goats and was a key player for the Goats in the tournament. He had even learned what a Yard Goat was.
One thing the Kendall twins desired was to be able to spend the night with the Hazen twins, who were all for it. But it wasn’t to be. Michael announced to the East Harbor contingent that they would be getting a wakeup call at seven in the morning. “Alejandro says we have to take off from the Centralia airfield by nine in the morning to get the jet back to his family on time. So, for us to get showers and breakfast and our trip to Centralia in on time that means getting up early.”
“Boo to getting up early,” Connor said.
“You can boo it all you want but early is still going to come early.”
“Then I’ll just have to sleep on the airplane.”
“Going to bed early tonight would help you a lot,” Alejandro said sternly.
“Well, if you put it that way, I suppose me and Cooper can pretend it’s a school day and go to bed early.”
“And sleep after you get there,” Michael said.
“Damn, you guys spoil all our fun,” Cooper said.
“I guess that means we’ll make good parents when we grow up.”
“The debate is over. Let’s get to our wheels and go,” Alejandro said.
And with that, the boys all thanked Trent for the party and zipped out the front door. Alejandro and Mason shared a long kiss while the other boys said their thanks. It would be the last time they would be seeing each other for a while.
After the East Harbor boys left, Trent, Titus, and Mason were the only boys left. Jackson had left to spend the night with his friend Mitchell. Titus was surprised to be one of the last three boys left. That fact gave him a comfortable sense of belonging.
(Evening Erotica)
<Miller Residence>
The hormones were running over in the young adolescents at the Miller residence and once the visiting adults left, the boys were determined to do something about it. The ten boys met downstairs in the back room to discuss who was going to do what with whom and where. Aiden mentioned that there were four rollaway beds in the storage room so nobody should have to sleep on the floor.
Aiden and Nolan had already discussed what they planned on doing. It wasn’t what Aiden had suspected but he was grateful to his boyfriend for what he had decided.
“I know we’d talked about you and me doing the big nasty on your birthday night, but I think we should put it off for a later day,” Nolan had said.
“Because Logan is here?” Aiden asked.
“You know me all too well. He is your favorite cousin and you two have a history in bed. And he does live a couple of hour’s drive away.”
“But what are you going to do?”
“I’ve always had a thing for boys with purple hair.”
“Liar.”
“So, I’m going to see if they are as sexy as they look.”
“You might be the best boyfriend in the world, but that doesn’t keep you from being full of shit,” Aiden said.
“But you still love me,” Nolan grinned.
“Okay, I’ll fuck my cousin like he’s never been fucked, but you better not wait long to hammer my ass.”
“You’d better be ready to have it fucked real soon.”
And that conversation led to Aiden saying that Logan would be sleeping with him. Logan was surprised but pleased. He had expected that he would be sleeping (and having sex with Madison) while Aiden and Nolan would be having whatever sex they liked to do. Since it was Aiden’s birthday, Logan figured it would be Aiden’s choice. But now it would be him and Aiden having the sex instead of Nolan and Aiden. He wondered who came up with the pairing. He suspected it was Nolan, but it could just as easily have been Aiden.
Justin and Darnell said they would be bed buddies and sleep on a rollaway bed. Dillon and Chase would be sleeping on the couch in the back room. It was a pullout couch. The two fifteen-year-olds would have privacy and plenty of space to maneuver. They weren’t sure what they planned to do, however. They agreed to just let things happen.
Eddie and Curt would be sleeping on separate rollaway beds which they would park side-by-side. Like Dillon and Chase, they weren’t sure what, if anything, they would be doing sexually. They were used to being in that situation. At home they often ended up doing nothing together and jerking off in their own beds.
<Hallion Residence>
Things ended up being much simpler at Trent’s house. “Let’s go up to my room,” Trent said.
“And do what?” Titus asked.
“Talk.”
“About what?” Mason asked.
“I guess we won’t know until we start talking.”
“We could talk down here in the living room couldn’t we?” Titus asked.
“But then we couldn’t talk about anything we want. The ‘rents have a way of being around. At least Jackson’s gone, so let’s just go up to my room, get comfy, and shoot the shit.”
“I’m for it,” Mason said.
“Then I’m for it, too,” Titus said.
Trent told his parents they were going up to his room to chat and play video games. The boys then headed for Trent’s room.
Mason and Titus sat on Trent’s double bed and Trent sat in his desk chair facing his two friends. Trent decided to start the conversation by mentioning Marty Carlson. “I’m sure you’ve heard of Marty Carlson, right, Titus?”
“Of course I have. He’s awesome,” Titus said. “He’s the Mariner third baseman and is the favorite to be the American League Rookie of the Year. And he’s from Washington.”
“Oh, he’s more than just from Washington.”
Titus paused as he tried to figure out what Trent meant. And then the light bulb went on.” Wait a minute, is he from Mayfield?”
Mason poked him with his left elbow. “Excellent deduction,” he told his new friend.
“Damn, this is really big time. Was he, like, born here or did he move here when he was older like I did?”
“He was born and raised in Mayfield,” Trent said.
“He’s a true home-grown hero,” Mason said.
“Just like that dude named Mason.”
“No way. I mean, I know I sing and play the guitar really good as a guest with a big-time band, but I’m not a national sports star like Marty.”
Then another thought hit Titus. “Hey, wait a sec. He’s from Mayfield and he’s out and gay and married to another guy. And that just gives me all kinds of questions to ask.”
“Ask away,” Trent said.
“Was he, like, out when he grew up here?”
“As far as I know he was. I know that he and his husband Rich were boyfriends in high school. I don’t know that much about his story when he was in middle school only that he was a good ballplayer and had a lot of personal and family issues. They say he was an alcoholic, but I don’t know how true that is.”
“Whatever. I know this much; he’s pretty awesome now, and that’s what counts.”
Trent and Titus both heard a zipper being unzipped and quickly looked at Mason, who was in the process of opening his shorts. They could see the bulge in his gray boxer briefs.
“What are you doing, Mason?” Trent asked with a horrified look on his face.
“I’m getting comfortable,” Mason grinned. “What did you think I was doing?”
“Are you okay with this, Titus?”
“I dunno. My Auburn friends and I didn’t open our pants to get comfortable when we were together. We might loosen up our belts, but we didn’t, like, show off our underwear.”
“When I’ve got a vicious hardon, opening my pants is what I do if I’m in a place where I can do it.” Mason wrapped the fingers of his right hand around the bulge in his briefs. “And, as you can see, I have a vicious hard on.”
“You might have asked Titus if he had a problem with you showing off your boner before you did it,” Trent said. “He’s new here, after all, and might not be used to how we do stuff here in Mayfield. But then, you could have asked me. It is my bedroom, after all.”
“It’s not like I’ve never pulled my pants and undies down in your house before,” Mason said. “Trust me, Titus, this is nothing compared to some of the stuff me and Trent have done in this room. But if you want me to stop, I will.”
Titus was surprised that his cock had become erect. “It’s cool.” He started fighting a mental battle as to whether or not he should follow Mason’s lead. He decided to take a middle route. “Do you have a boner, too?” he asked Trent.
“Yeah, it happens a lot when you’re fourteen.”
“And when you’re thirteen, although I won’t be there for another couple of weeks,” Mason said. As if to prove his case, Mason pulled his shorts more than halfway down his thigh.
Titus’s eyes almost bugged out of his face. “You’re almost naked,” he croaked just in case nobody noticed.
“Haven’t you ever seen somebody naked before?”
“Yeah, like in the swimming pool locker room and a couple of times at somebody’s house when we’d check each other out. But we never got naked doing that, we just pulled our pants down like Mason’s done. That’s least as far as boys go. I’ve seen a girl naked. Her name was Cheryl. And she saw me naked, too.”
“You got naked together?” Trent asked just to make sure he heard right.
“Three times. The last time was just after school got out and I found out I was gonna be moving for sure. And, yeah, I had a boner all three times. We kissed naked. And the last time we took a nap naked on her bed since her parents were working.”
“Did you fuck her?” Mason asked.
“We decided since we were only thirteen not to, but I sucked her boobs and felt her twat and then we fell asleep.”
“But did you at least cum?”
“You mean have an orgasm?” Titus nodded. “Not until I got home, but I wanted to do it badly when we woke up from our nap when her alarm went off. I had to go before her mom got home. I jerked off when I got home.”
“Cool, then you like to jerk off.”
“I’ve done it since my twelfth birthday when my friends Alan and Billy told me about it. But I’ve never done it with somebody; not even a girl.”
“But you’ve never done anything with a boy?” Trent asked.
“Nope.”
“Do you want to?” Trent then pulled his shorts down to his ankles, showing off his tighty whiteys.
“Do I have to?” Titus asked.
“Our group has a simple rule. When it comes to messing around no means NO! Nobody ever has to do anything.”
“And who is your group?”
“Mostly the guys we play sports with. Aiden, Nolan, Mason (Mason took his right hand off of his dick and gave Titus a wave and a grin), the twins, Scott, Riley, Grant, Me, and I know I’m leaving guys out. If in doubt you can always check with me, Mason, or Aiden…”
“But I only met Aiden for a few seconds,” Titus said.
“He said he’d put on a welcome party, so in a couple of days you’ll know him even better. And you’ll get to know the guys at the party. And you’re going to turn out for soccer, right?”
“I haven’t decided yet.”
“We can talk about it one-on-one tomorrow when it’s just the two of us and we aren’t doing things like…well…like this.” Trent pulled his underpants down to his ankles and then kicked his shorts and underpants off. Mason grinned and did the same. Both boys were now wearing just socks and a t-shirt. Mason was stroking faster and Trent was starting to stroke his five plus inch teen erection.
As Titus looked at his new friends sitting with their pants off and their hard cocks pointing up, he decided these guys were his new friends, and one of them was a music star. ‘What could it hurt if I joined?’ He pulled off his pants and red boxer shorts, revealing a four-and-a-half-inch erection with an arc of scattered red pubes growing in his pubic region. “I did it,” he said with an air of pride. “Now what do we do?”
“You could do what me and Mason are doing, watch us finish, put your pants back on and watch us finish, take a nap. In other words, do whatever you want, but Mason and I are gonna finish. Right, Mason?”
“Do you have any lotion?” Mason’s question told Trent exactly what he needed to know. He dug into the drawer on his nightstand, pulled out a bottle of skin lotion, put a dollop on his cock, and tossed the bottle to Mason who pulled off his t-shirt and quickly lubed up his cock.
“What’s that stuff?” Titus asked.
“It’s moisturizing lotion. You use it to lube your cock when you jerk off which makes it feel even better and makes for kick ass cums.” Trent said.
Once again Titus’s cock spoke to him. “Toss it to me, Mason,” he said.
Trent then got out of his chair, pulled off his t-shirt and sat next to Mason. He and Mason were naked except for their socks. Not to be outdone by his new friends, Titus pulled off his t-shirt and then slopped some lotion on his cock. As soon as he started moving his hand along his erection he could tell the difference. Much to his embarrassment he moaned his pleasure.
“Sorry,” he muttered.
“Hey, nothing to be sorry about, it’s all part of the game,” Mason said. “Make all the noise you want, just don’t scream or Trent’s parents will wonder what’s going on.”
“They won’t wonder, they will know, and I’d just as soon they didn’t,” Trent said.
That ended the chatter. The three young teens (Mason was two weeks short—close enough) got caught up in making themselves feel good and watching their friends go at it. Mason wondered what would happen if he replaced Titus’s hand with his own, and then decided this wasn’t the time. He had no doubt it would happen soon, but today’s JO session was Titus’s first time doing it with somebody else and the way they were letting him do it was perfect.
“This feels so awesomely good I can’t believe it,” Titus rasped as his hand moved faster and faster along his cock. He wished the idea of lubing his cock had occurred to him when he started jerking off. ‘Whatever, I’m gonna get me some of this lotion stuff as soon as I can.’
The grunting and moaning and groaning were like music to Titus’s ears. Mason was the first to cum, his light, watery cum shooting over his almost bare pubic area. Trent followed closely, his first squirt hitting his chin. The thicker gobs that followed landed from his chest to his thick pubes, some of it pooling around his innie belly button.
The sounds and sights around him sent Titus into a sexual region he had never experienced before. It was all he could do not to scream, but he did release a long, low moan as he shot cum from his nipples to his pubic region. For a moment he was hit by a wave of guilt, but he shook it off. ‘No. Something that feels this good shouldn’t make me feel bad,’ he told himself.
“Wow, you shot a nice load,” Mason said as he scooped up some of Titus’s cum and tasted it.
“You’re tasting my cum,” Titus said.
“It’s sweet and delicious,” Mason told him.
“I can see I got a lot to learn.” As he came down from his sexual high, Titus was convinced he would never eat somebody’s cum. Little did he know.
Trent got off the bed, grabbed a couple of towels from his dresser, and the boys wiped up their emissions and dressed. “How do you feel?” Mason asked Titus.
“It felt really good doing it, but I’m not sure how I feel now. At first, when I came, I felt really bad about doing this. But now I think I’m okay with it except for one thing.”
“What’s that?” Trent asked. He had a pretty good idea of what Titus’s answer would be.
“This won’t make me gay will it?”
Trent congratulated himself on his mindreading skills. “No, it just makes you feel good when you come and it makes you feel good knowing you’ve got really good friends you can do stuff like jerk off with. Trust me, I felt just like you did the first couple of times I did stuff with another guy. And, truth be told, that other guy was Jackson, which was a good thing in a lot of ways.”
“Why’s that?”
“Because it said to me my big brother loved me enough to teach me something that felt so good. Plus, I’m not gay. I’ve done stuff with girls and really liked it. But messing around with other guys is a lot less trouble and nobody can get hurt. It’s just friends being friends.”
“But I am gay, which I know you knew,” Mason said. “And jerking off won’t make you gay either. It’s just like Trent said; it’s friends being friends. It’s when two gay guys get together and do this that it becomes different—like me and Alejandro or Aiden and Nolan. Then good friends start to become boyfriends. But you gotta be gay or bi for that to really happen.”
With the sexual lessons over, the boys left Trent’s room then each took a piss. After saying goodbye to Trent’s parents, Mason and Titus headed for their homes.
A lot more cum would be spilled at Aiden’s house, even though the ten boys were spread around the place.
